Rose Hooper Blizzard, 74, of Westminster, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2025, after a brief illness. Born November 24, 1950, in New Orleans, she was the daughter of the late John Albert Hooper, Jr. and Violet Hartman Hooper. Rose was the longtime administrative assistant in the psychology department at McDaniel College, where she worked for 30 years and cherished engaging with students and faculty. She is survived by her children Alison, Erin, Lauren, granddaughter Harmony, nephew Jeffrey, and her beloved Great Dane, Claire. Rose loved traveling, pickleball, gardening, and community volunteering.
