Rosemarie Gogarty, born on April 11, 1934, in the Bronx, NY, and died on December 2, 2025, in Ellicott City, was a devoted mother, grandmother, educator, and faithful servant of her church. She enjoyed a long career teaching English, Speech, and Drama in New York and New Jersey before moving to Sykesville, Maryland, to be closer to her grandchildren. There, she became an active member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, eventually serving as Regent. Rosemarie is survived by her daughters Joanne and Jacqueline, son-in-law Jeffrey, and grandchildren Chris and Kevin. She was predeceased by her siblings Frank Mauro and Lucy Valvano.
