Ruby Lee Shipley, 97, of Sykesville, passed away on November 23, 2025. Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of Paul and Florence Jogereit and the devoted wife of the late George Shipley. Ruby was a lifelong homemaker who lovingly raised four children and is survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A longtime member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, she served as president of the United Methodist Women. She also worked at Dixon’s Flowers and later retired from London Fog. Known for her warm hospitality, Ruby cherished bringing loved ones together through her cooking and baking.
