Sherry Anne Lay, 81, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, at The Terraces at Westminster after an extended illness. Born on October 20, 1943, in San Marcos, Texas, she was the daughter of Gus Holmgren and Lois Hinks. She is survived by her children, Michael (Cindy) Lay and Suzanne (Tim) Zombro, and grandchildren Anthony and Connor, who were her greatest joy. Sherry worked many years for the Social Security Administration. She loved gardening, watching cooking shows, and spending time with her family. Sherry especially cherished her role as a grandmother, treasuring every moment with her loved ones.
