Shirley Delores Barnes, 79, of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, at Dove House after a brief illness. Born April 12, 1946, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Leppo. A 1964 graduate of Westminster High School, Shirley worked at Carroll County Bank and Trust for 18 years and later held positions with Carroll County Public Schools and the Health Department. A devoted member of Edgewood Church of the Brethren, she served as a Deacon and participated in Bible studies. She is survived by her husband Thomas, two children, and grandson Carson.
