Susan “Sue” Rasche Rinker, 63, of Horntown, VA, formerly of Taneytown, MD, passed away March 23, 2026. Born in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Doris and William Rasche. A graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, she worked at Finch Services, McDaniel College, and most recently the National Park Service in Chincoteague. Sue was an active community member, runner, and dedicated volunteer supporting veterans. She loved gardening, history, and the outdoors, but most cherished her family. She is survived by her companion, children, siblings, and grandchildren, and was predeceased by her brother Robert.
