Tasha Cramer, founder of The Kindred Institute for Leadership and Wellness, has recently published her first book, The Kind Leader: How Wellness Shapes Transformative Leadership.
The book explores how integrating wellness principles into leadership practices strengthens organizations, fosters inclusion, and promotes sustainable impact. Cramer is currently pursuing her Ph.D., further advancing her research at the intersection of wellness, leadership, and inclusive organizational development.
In addition to the book release, Cramer will be honored by McDaniel College as a Recent Alumni of the Year, recognizing her leadership, community engagement, and contributions to wellness-centered organizational development.
She is also launching an evidence-based leadership program, Building Healthy Leaders: A Wellness-Based Leadership Program. The cohort integrates research-informed strategies with practical application, equipping leaders to create psychologically safe, inclusive, and high-performing environments. The program draws on wellness frameworks, emotional intelligence practices, and inclusive leadership principles to support leaders across sectors.
With more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, mental health advocacy, and organizational development, Cramer continues to advance conversations around kindness as a strategic leadership competency. Her work focuses on bridging wellness and leadership to strengthen individuals, teams, and communities throughout Carroll County and beyond.
