The Montessori School of Westminster’s 27-acre campus welcomes children age 2 to grade 9.
The Montessori School of Westminster (MSW) proudly celebrates 52 years of delivering an authentic, sustainable educational approach that fosters independence, global thinking, and a commitment to supporting all learners. This enduring impact is best reflected in the 11 alumni families who now entrust MSW with their children’s education.
This year’s theme, “Our School, Our Legacy,” honors decades of excellence and the multigenerational trust families place in MSW’s mission to cultivate compassionate, curious, and confident leaders. Laura Gulley, a current grandparent and school ambassador, exemplifies this legacy: “I am grateful my grandson can attend MSW. I wanted my daughter to experience the same emotions my husband and I did as parents.”
She adds, “The school provides a great foundation for learning and community. That’s the legacy.”
The return of alumni families signifies more than tradition—it validates MSW’s philosophy. Montessori education shapes character, builds confidence, and instills a lifelong love of learning. These families’ decisions to return demonstrate that MSW’s influence extends beyond academics, creating a foundation for how children view themselves, their communities, and the world.
As MSW looks ahead, its greatest measure of success remains clear: not only what students achieve during their time here, but who they become long after—and whether they choose to pass this gift to the next generation.
