Theresa Gertner, born March 7, 1931, in Bakonykoppany, Hungary, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, surrounded by family. She fled Hungary during the 1956 Revolution, eventually settling in the United States, where she married her husband, Tony, in 1959. They later moved to Westminster, Maryland, where Theresa worked as a head cook for 20 years and hosted a local cooking show. Known for her warmth, humor, and deep Catholic faith, she loved gardening, baking, and spending time with others. Preceded in death by her husband, she is survived by her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
