William “Bill” Garvin, 84, of Sykesville, passed away on September 26, 2025. Born June 30, 1941, in Lakewood, Ohio, he was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and longtime intelligence analyst for the NSA. Bill lived abroad in Australia with his family during his Department of Defense service and enjoyed a lifetime of travel with his wife, visiting 21 countries and vacationing in St. Martin annually. He loved genealogy, amateur radio (call sign N3GWV), woodworking, hunting, and pickleball. Bill is survived by his wife Jane, two sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends and relatives who will miss him deeply.
