William “Doug” Hollinger, 62, of Emmitsburg, Maryland, passed away on September 23, 2025. Born January 10, 1963, Doug was a lifelong Emmitsburg resident, known for his warmth, humor, and deep community ties. A 1981 graduate of Saint Joseph’s High School, he was a devoted husband to Kay, proud father to Landon and Nicole, and loving grandfather to Austyn, Kaia, and Everhett. He enjoyed time at the American Legion, playing softball, and serving in the Vigilant Hose Company. Doug’s joy came from family, friends, and simple pleasures—always bringing laughter to those around him. He will be deeply missed.
