We Are Carroll Awards

The Community Foundation of Carroll County presents the We Are Carroll Awards — formerly Philanthropists of the Year — to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our nonprofit partners, one best friend, one legend, and one incredibly generous philanthropist. We’ve rebranded, expanded, and opened the awards this year to include a community member nominated by a Carroll County nonprofit that is NOT affiliated with CFCC. We want to recognize the efforts of all those working to make our county a better place to live, work, laugh, and put down roots.

Living Legacy: Mr. Ed Leister retired commercial banker and constant community advocate

Philanthropist of the Year: Dave Bond nominated by Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County

All proceeds from this event support the Audrey Cimino Legacy Fund of the Community Foundation, which allows us to ensure the sustainability of our community foundation for years to come.
