George Ronald Helm, 82, of Havre de Grace, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born August 2, 1943, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George A. and Georgianna K. Helm. A proud U.S. Coast Guard veteran, George later built a 25-year career with Maersk, retiring as Terminal Manager at the Port of Baltimore. He was the loving father of Todd R. Helm and devoted brother of Susan Helm Thomas. He was predeceased by his former spouse, Joyce Ann Helm. George will be remembered for his service, dedication, and warmth.
