Carol Ann Wildesen, 80, of Uniontown, Maryland, passed away on August 14, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Sebring, Florida, she was the eldest daughter of Earl and Mildred Haenftling and the beloved wife of the late John William Wildesen. A graduate of Northern Garrett High School and the University of Maryland, Carol Ann earned her law degree in 1973 and practiced law for 52 years, most recently as Commercial Underwriting Counsel with Stewart Title. She loved real estate, antiques, reading, and gardening. Above all, she cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Kolt and McKenna, at Deep Creek Lake.
