Wayne Eugene Sanders, 80, of Emmitsburg, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in 1945 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of George and Erma Sanders. A lifelong resident of Emmitsburg, Wayne worked on the family dairy farm, held various jobs, and was most recently employed at RR Donnelley. He was a talented musician, pilot, and history enthusiast. He is survived by his four children and seven grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Pappy.” Known for his love, resilience, and generosity, Wayne leaves behind a legacy of faith, family devotion, and service to others.
