James Raymond Wood, 94, of Westminster, MD, passed away on September 9, 2025, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born October 24, 1930, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late James E. and Mathilda Wood. A skilled mechanic, James also worked as a truck driver and most recently as a bus attendant for the ARC. He was a member of the Living Church of God, Moose Lodge #1381, and Eagles Lodge, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Marie Wood, stepchildren, 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings and stepdaughter Kate Lane.
