The Carroll County Government will open its doors for a special Employment Expo on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM at the County Office Building, 225 N. Center Street, Westminster. The event invites residents to explore career and internship opportunities across the county’s various departments.
Representatives from all twelve county departments—including the Sheriff’s Office, Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Planning and Land Management, and Technology Services—will be on hand to discuss the services they provide and current and upcoming job openings.
Participants will have the chance to discover meaningful roles that impact the community, learn about career development paths, and get information on benefits, pensions, and paid time off packages.
New this year is an “Intern with Us!” panel from 4:30 to 5:00 PM, designed for those interested in gaining real-world experience through internships with Carroll County Government. An Internship Booth will also be available throughout the event.
“The greatest strength of Carroll County Government is its dedicated workforce,” said Kristy Bixler, Director of Human Resources. “The Employment Expo is a unique opportunity to connect with individuals who are passionate about public service and making a difference in the community. We’re excited to meet talented candidates who are ready to grow their careers and help shape the future of Carroll County.”
No registration is required to attend. For more information or to view current job openings, visit the Carroll County Career Center or contact the Human Resources department at 410-386-2129 or careers@carrollcountymd.gov.
Residents are encouraged to spread the word to family and friends interested in pursuing careers in local government.
