Charles Howard Briggs, 92, of Baltimore, MD, died May 18, 2026. Born September 26, 1933, he lived a life of service, education, faith, and storytelling. He graduated from Frostburg State Teachers College in 1956 and held student leadership and theater roles. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, including duty in Panama. His career included teaching, advertising, government contract editing, insurance, publishing, and Carroll County public service. He was active in fire history preservation and volunteer work in retirement. Known for humor and expressive storytelling, He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, remembered devotion, faith, family.
