Sandra Kay Watkins, 76, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away on May 18, 2026, at Autumn Lake in Sykesville. Born in Topeka, Kansas, she was the beloved wife of J. Wayne Watkins for 55 years. Sandy dedicated her career to administrative and legal support roles, including positions with Carroll County Clerk of the Court and CLSI. She was a life member of the VFW Post 467 Ladies Auxiliary and co-directed the Maryland Youth Hunter Education Challenge with her husband. Sandy loved the ocean, sailing the Chesapeake Bay and traveling to the Bahamas and BVI. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and sister.
