Edward “Ed” Duafala, Jr., 86, of Severna Park, formerly of Mt. Airy, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 19, 2026. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Ed enjoyed a long and successful career as a Senior Software Engineer with IBM, where his passion for electronics and problem-solving defined his work. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who cherished his family above all else. Ed also enjoyed working on cars and gardening and was known for his determination and unwavering spirit. His legacy of love, dedication, and perseverance will be remembered by all who knew him.
