Joseph “Joey” Phillip Kreit Sr., 71, of Taneytown, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, after a long battle with MSA-P. A devoted husband to Helen for 53 years, Joey spent much of his life farming and driving trucks while building lasting friendships throughout the community. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and was known for his fun-loving spirit, strong work ethic, and love of golf, family games, and sunny days. Joey is survived by his wife, two sons, three grandchildren, his brother, and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
