Helen “Nanny” Archer, 79, of Perry Hall, passed away on July 26, 2026, at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Westminster on March 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Mary Addellia Guy Horton and Harry Guy. Helen enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, visiting casinos, and taking annual trips to Maine to see friends. She also treasured lunches with friends and class reunions. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Novak, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister, Wanda Legore. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Martindale.
