Richard Norman Cox, 69, of Finksburg, passed away on August 5, 2026, at Sinai Hospital. Born August 29, 1956, in Baltimore, he was the son of Norman Richard and Nancy Lee Dayhoff Cox and the loving husband of Brenda Sue Cox for 44 years. A 1974 graduate of Westminster High School, Richard spent 50 years working as Service Manager at RMS and volunteered with Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Co. for more than 20 years. A member of Church of the Open Door, he enjoyed dirt track racing, camping with family and friends, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He is survived by his wife, parents, children, sisters, grandchildren, step-grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
