Conard Lee Bridges, 85, of Union Bridge, passed away Sept. 28, 2026, at Dove House in Westminster. Born April 27, 1941, in Bakersville, North Carolina, he was the husband of the late Pauline Bernice Bridges. Conard worked as a carpenter and mechanic for Westinghouse before becoming a master assembler for Northrop Grumman, where he assembled dash units for F-16 fighter jets. Known as a handyman, he enjoyed hunting and mowing the lawn. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members. He was preceded in death by several siblings and his granddaughter, Samantha Kemper.
