Mary Irene Bowersox, 77, of Finksburg, died Oct. 4, 2026, at home. Born Oct. 13, 1948, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Bowersox Sr. and Laura Schaeffer Bowersox. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1966 and worked as a secretary at Towson University before retiring. A lifelong member of Patapsco United Methodist Church, she served on various committees. She is survived by her sister, Lucille E. Bowersox; brother Roy A. Bowersox; sister-in-law Betsy Bowersox; two nephews; a niece; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, John W. Bowersox Jr.
