The OakenMist Renaissance Faire was held Aug. 15-16 at the Carroll County Agriculture Center, transporting attendees back to the days of knights, artisans and old-world traditions. Visitors enjoyed demonstrations, live performances and a marketplace filled with vendors and wares inspired by the time of yore. The event offered a festive weekend of entertainment and a chance to experience the sights, sounds and spirit of the Renaissance. — photography by Nikola Tzenov
