Russell Joseph Knopp, 74, of Taneytown, MD, passed away on October 27, 2026, at his residence. Born March 10, 1952, he was the son of the late Catherine and Russell Knopp. Russell enjoyed his work as a mason, particularly on horse farms, and took pride in maintaining his yard. He was a longtime member of VFW Post 467, where he enjoyed cooking for the Friday night car show for 20 years. He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Diane Lookingbill, her three children, two siblings, a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
