Larry Michael Mellema, 67, of Westminster, MD, passed away on October 24, 2026. Born October 22, 1959, in Gettysburg, PA, he grew up in Union Mills, MD. Larry worked in landscaping, roofing, barn construction and painting, and was known as a handy man and free spirit. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, family gatherings and sharing his sense of humor with friends and family. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. Mellema; two sisters, Susan Ibex and Trudy Eckenrode; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Tammy.
