Doris Mae Greene, 82, of Winston-Salem, NC, formerly of Finksburg, passed away August 22, 2026, at her home. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Pond and Doris Mae Ford Pond. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Lloyd Greene, in 2014. Doris held a variety of careers, including at Westminster Elks Lodge, as a professional wrestler, insurance agent, and owner of Sew Fine custom drapery business. She and her husband also served as innkeepers at Bowling Brook Mansion in Keymar. She is survived by three children, two siblings, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
