Eileen Esther Gangi Compton, 95, of Upperco, passed away peacefully September 17, 2026, at her home. Born June 1, 1931, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Esther Grace Rose and Salvatore Gangi. Eileen graduated from St. James Business School in 1949 and later became a devoted homemaker and mother. She shared nearly 58 years of marriage with her late husband, James Grayson “Reds” Compton, and together they raised four daughters. Eileen enjoyed bowling, cooking, animals, and family gatherings. Known for her kindness, deep faith, and devotion to family, she especially cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
