Florita Du Breuil, 86, of Ellicott City, MD, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at Morningside House. Born May 8, 1939, in Camaguey, Cuba, to the late Arcadio Hernandez and Engracia Bello, she bravely fled Cuba in 1967 disguised as a nun. She later married the late Jorge Du Breuil and together raised their daughter, Dianne. A devoted teacher, Florita ran a loving home daycare for many years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren. A woman of faith, kindness, and courage, she is survived by her daughter Dianne Delgado, son-in-law Antonio, and grandchildren Jacqueline and AJ Delgado.
