This holiday season, the stage is set for something special. The local production company 127 Creative is bringing back its festive show, Storytellers, for three performances at the Carroll Arts Center in Westminster — a sequel to last year’s hit which nearly sold out.

Launched last year, the first-edition of Storytellers offered two nights of music and narrative, connecting audiences with the hidden tales behind familiar Christmas songs — and the community loved it. One attendee said it was the “Best Christmas show ever.” President of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Mike McMullin called it “a wonderful and magical way to usher in the Holiday Season!” Another attendee of the 2024 performance Tony Acampa shares, “I was blown away. Loved every minute.”

This year’s show promises to shine even brighter. The cast features local talent including Billy Lyve, Kim Harberson, Logan Sauborn, Arielle Baquol, Andrea Molina, Isis Cook, Janae Henson, Daena Cox, and Mike Ferrante — all supported by the Storytellers band under the direction of Jonathan Waller.

Beyond being a joyful night out, Storytellers carries a meaningful mission: half of every ticket sale goes directly to local Carroll County charities. When you purchase your seat, you’ll also select which of ten community-based nonprofits receives your share. Beneficiaries include groups such as Action for Kindness, Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County, The Community Foundation of Carroll County, Find Your Purpose, Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County, The Hive, Human Services Program of Carroll County, The Shepherd’s Staff, Westminster Rescue Mission, and The Human Fund.

Audience members can look forward to more than just music: As host Steve Lowe guides the program, multimedia visuals, props and audience participation bring the stories behind beloved holiday tunes to life — then the song is performed live by one of the local stars.

This years production of Storytellers returns to the Carroll Arts Center just in time for the holidays, with three unforgettable performances on December 19 at 7:00 PM, December 20 at 3:00 PM, and December 20 at 6:00 PM. Each show offers a unique blend of live music, storytelling, and local talent that captures the true spirit of the season—making it the perfect way for families and friends to celebrate together.

The production is supported by sixteen local sponsors, with a few remaining sponsorship opportunities available for businesses or individuals wishing to support the event. Get tickets and details at Storytellers2025.com.
