James D. Henry, Sr., 80, of Westminster, passed away on May 7, 2026, at Carroll County Hospital. A devoted public servant, he proudly served in the United States Navy, spent more than 20 years in the United States Coast Guard, and dedicated over two decades to the Baltimore City Fire Department, where he also taught Hazmat training. Following retirement, he served as Head of Safety and Security at Carroll Hospital. James loved the outdoors, especially kayaking, biking, camping, and hiking, but treasured time with his family most of all. Known for his playful pranks, he will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, and loved ones.
