JoAnn Lee Bausman, 93, of Ocean View, Delaware, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, August 28, 2026, in Mount Airy, Maryland. Born September 24, 1932, in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Christine Peterson. JoAnn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. Later, she worked as a cafeteria employee for Baltimore County Public Schools, where she enjoyed serving children. She loved cooking, gardening, dancing, antiquing, card games, collecting elephants, camping, fishing, crabbing, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by three children, six grandchildren, and three siblings.
