John Carl Schluter, Jr., 94, of Laurel, MD, passed away on August 14, 2025, at Westminster Healthcare. Born on September 15, 1930, in Washington, DC, he was the son of John Carl, Sr. and Elizabeth Schluter. A U.S. Air Force veteran, John served in government communications during Desert Storm. He enjoyed repairing TVs, gardening, and sports. He is survived by his children Marie, Mark, Susan, and Carolyn; siblings Dolores and David; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. John will be remembered for his service, skills, and love of family.
