Joseph Anthony “Joe” Garrett, 79, passed away on May 8, 2026, at his home in Woodbine. Born in Towson, he was the son of the late Lunsford Owen Garrett II and Bernice Aurelia (Jenkins) Garrett. Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era from 1966–1969. He worked as a medical courier and loved traveling the country on his motorcycle, especially attending Sturgis rallies. Joe found peace in his faith and attended Church of the Open Door. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and extended family, and will be remembered for his quiet strength and gentle spirit.
