Larry Richard Preece, 83, of Sykesville, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, at BridgingLife’s Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born December 13, 1941, in Catlettsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Abraham and Margie Preece, and the beloved husband of Sally Rader Preece for 59 years. Larry is survived by his sons Michael (Lisa) and Timothy (Sarah), and grandchildren Emma (John Dunn), Nicholas, Brian, Abigail, and Alyssa. He was predeceased by his siblings Ronald Preece and Sandy Wigton. Larry will be remembered for his devotion to family and his quiet, loving presence.
