Marlene M. DeRosa, 88, of Sykesville, passed away on May 9, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack L. DeRosa, sharing 56 years of marriage. Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Rosella Smith and began working at Tolls Grocery Store at age 11. Marlene married Jack in 1956, and together they raised five children in Montgomery County. She is survived by her children, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with her siblings Arthur Smith and Caroline “Peachy” Newbill.
