Norma Elizabeth Clarkson, 82, passed away peacefully September 19, 2026, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York, Pennsylvania. Born in Chestnut Ridge, Baltimore County, she was the daughter of the late Douglas O. and Christina Hoffman Ward. Norma was the loving wife of Nowell Clarkson for 62 years. She was a member of Taneytown Baptist Church and the Genealogy Society and grew up as a 4-H member. Norma is survived by her husband, Nowell; sons Arlin and Andrew and their wives; grandchildren Benjamin and Jenna; great-grandchildren Alaia Rose and Ivy Hope; brothers Douglas and James; and numerous nieces and nephews.
