Paula Ann Rugemer, 84, of Westminster, died Oct. 11, 2026, at BridgingLife Dove House. Born April 28, 1942, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Annabel Hunt Doukas and John T. Doukas and wife of the late Walter B. Rugemer Sr. Rugemer worked as a nurse at Rosewood Hospital Center and was a member of Krider’s United Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, playing games, shopping, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Victoria, Karen, Tonya and Walter “Brooks” Jr.; brother, John Doukas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
