Rosemary “Sam” Remsberg, 79, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, following a short hospitalization related to chronic heart failure. Born in Rhode Island in 1946, she later moved to Florida before settling in Maryland, where she met her husband, Philip “Phil” Remsberg, in 1968. Together they shared nearly 60 years of marriage, raising two children and building a life filled with travel, family, and community involvement. Sam was known for her warmth, creativity, humor, and love of animals. She faced significant health challenges with resilience and will be remembered for her devotion to family, curiosity, and enduring spirit.
