Russell Ward Allen, 90, of Eldersburg, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 18, 2026. Born in Coshocton, Ohio, he was raised on a dairy farm and later attended The Ohio State University and the Maryland Institute College of Art. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Russell went on to build a respected career in real estate and home inspection, becoming an early member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and founder of AA Home Inspection. He was active in numerous civic and fraternal organizations, including the Shriners, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Elks. Russell is survived by his children, grandchildren, sister, and extended family, and will be remembered for his integrity, determination, and strong character.
