Thomas Harry “Tom” Field, 78, of Eldersburg, MD, died May 22, 2026, at his home. Born June 15, 1947, in West Virginia and raised in Piedmont, he was the son of the late Harry Hagen Field and Frances Pauline Warnick Field. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969 and later earned degrees from West Virginia University, building a long career in operations management in automotive and manufacturing industries.He shared 53 years of marriage with his wife Kay Field and was a devoted father, grandfather, and family man. Tom was active in Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church, the Freedom District Lions Club, and served as a Scout Master with Troop #883. He is remembered for his faith, service, leadership, and love of family, as well as his enthusiasm for the Orioles and Ravens.
