Young entrepreneurs across Carroll County will once again have the chance to showcase their talents as the 3rd Annual Youth Farmers Market returns on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Coppermine Pantherplex.
Held in partnership with the Hampstead Farmers Market, the event runs from 7 a.m. to noon and invites children and teens ages 17 and under to operate their own vendor booths free of charge.
Participants gain hands-on experience running a business, from selling products to interacting with customers in a real-world setting.
Now in its third year, the Youth Farmers Market has quickly become a local favorite, featuring a wide variety of youth-created goods, including baked items, crafts, artwork, and produce.
Young vendors work alongside established market sellers, offering a unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced entrepreneurs.
The event is hosted by local business owner Jennifer Lleras and her agency, Hampstead Marketing & Design, with the goal of empowering the next generation through creativity, confidence-building, and community support.

“Each year, this event continues to grow in the most incredible way,” Lleras said. “We’re creating an opportunity for kids to build confidence, learn valuable skills, and feel supported by their community.”
Organizers say the market also provides a fun, family-friendly atmosphere for residents to support young talent while enjoying the larger farmers market.
Registration is now open, and parents are encouraged to sign up early as space is limited. Community members are invited to attend and support the youth vendors.
