Betty Jean Blanchette passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Westminster, Maryland, at the age of 81. Born July 15, 1944, in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Velma Eyler. Betty worked for Random House in Westminster for 26 years and enjoyed crime shows, NASCAR, Bingo, and time with family. She was married to James Blanchette for 35 years until his passing in 2023. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Boone.
