Ruth J. Edwards passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 86. Born January 9, 1940, in Carroll County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Ruth Bowers Sr. and the wife of the late Martin Rickell Sr. and Robert Edwards. A 1958 graduate of Westminster High School, Ruth worked as a waitress, seamstress, and at Harry’s Sub Shop. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, drawing, and family time. Known for her generosity, she crocheted items for hospitals and nursing homes. Ruth is lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.
