Michael Porter of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away on May 1, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born March 11, 1956, in Baltimore, he was a devoted husband of 15 years to Ann Baquol Lewis, and her best friend since seventh grade. Michael lived a life marked by compassion, music, and dedication to others. A talented musician, he wrote and produced several CDs and loved performing. He served as a SICU Registered Nurse for over 25 years, caring deeply for his patients. He also enjoyed fishing, hiking, cycling, and time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister, and many loved ones.
