Carson Leslie Kelly, 79, of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Gettysburg. A 1965 graduate of Emmitsburg High School, Carson proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as part of the 2nd Sentry Dog Platoon, earning the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge in 1969. He worked for Eastalco, Mason Dixon Farms, and Gettysburg Hospital, and was a devoted member of Tom’s Creek United Methodist Church. Carson enjoyed woodworking, farming, gardening, fishing, and family gatherings. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Phyllis, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brothers.
