Donald Michael “Mike” Forney, 74, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, and formerly of Union Bridge, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 12, 1951, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Galen Reese Forney and Pauline Louise Koons Forney. Mike shared 54 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Sandra Lee Reese Forney. He retired after 40 years at Lehigh in Woodsboro and later worked at Carroll Lutheran Village. Mike enjoyed car and horse racing and is survived by his wife, daughters, siblings, grandchildren, and extended family.
