Elizabeth Rose “Rosie” Weimer passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, just weeks before her 97th birthday. Born in Mount Savage, Maryland, she devoted her life to faith, family, and service. Rosie and her beloved husband, Stanley, shared more than 76 years together, raising eight children on their dairy farm before settling in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. A devoted member of Tom’s Creek United Methodist Church, she was known for her warmth, cooking, gardening, music, and love of family traditions. Rosie also enjoyed successful careers at Das Gift Haus and The Horse Soldier. She leaves behind a large, loving family whose lives were shaped by her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion.
